Alexandria + Marcus | Scarborough Bluffs Engagement Session
As the weather gets colder and the days shorter, I love to sit in the natural light that generously basks my office space, nestled up with a cozy blanket and some hot chocolate. Today, I find myself sitting and reflecting upon all my amazing clients and the opportunities they graciously gave me to capture their most treasured, important moments. As I sift through the various sessions on my computer, I pass by Alexandria and Marcus’s engagement photos, which instantly transport me back to warm summer nights and that stunning golden hour glow.
It is easy to see why the ‘bluffs’ have become Scarborough’s hidden gem (thanks BlogTO!). A Scarborough resident for the entirety of my life, I have frequented the bottom of Brimley Road for countless sunsets over the years.
This hidden beach was the most perfect place for me to photograph the love and adoration that Alexandria and Marcus share for one another. The lighting this afternoon was utterly ideal – the sun just peaked behind the tall sandy coloured bluffs creating this golden glow that accentuated the scenery and Alexandria’s natural beauty.
