Laura + James | Summer Wedding in Elmvale
Well, holy moly, me oh my, this wedding is the candy of my eye!
Laura and James had my heart with their wedding. I love me a lace dress with some cowboy boots and a good time on the dance floor!
From the beginning they both wanted a big wedding and party to be shared with all of their family and friends. But, because of a few hiccups covid brought this year they had to adjust their plans – and decided to host a small intimate wedding on their property. “Even though our plans had to change, it turned out to be the most beautiful wedding and perfect day,” Laura said. “The benefits getting married on our own property gives us the opportunity to relive and enjoy the wonderful day we had everytime we look outside.”
I first spoke with Laura and James after they had already experienced a couple of hiccups in the planning process. We immediately clicked after meeting for coffee in a little cafe in Beaton – we both shared a very similar style and vision. Valued family, a good time, and all things country and rustic!
This sunny day was filled with laughter, love, and togetherness. My cheeks were oh so sore by the end of the night from genuine smiling and laughter all day. Laura and James’ friends and family were like a pit of acceptance and love – and I fell right in. Despite the chaos in the world from the pandemic and social distancing, there was still such a sense of togetherness and love; everyone was family.
Laura and James, thank you for inviting me in to your lives and sharing this most precious day. One of the positives I take away from this pandemic is that I met you both, because I am not sure if our paths would have crossed otherwise, and for that I am beyond grateful.
Much much love
